10k pace calculator

Your pace card before you type anything: the pace behind every barrier from 30:00 to 60:00, and your watch at each mile marker, six miles plus the point two. A 10k is 10.000 km, or 6.2137 miles.

What pace do I need for my 10k goal?

Required pace = goal time ÷ 10.000 km. Mile pace = kilometre pace × 1.609344. Paces are rounded down to the full second, so each one finishes at or under the goal time.

Mile-marker clock for a US-style 10k

Each clock = goal time × (miles covered × 1.609344 ÷ 10.000 km), at a perfectly even pace and rounded down. After the 6-mile marker, 344 metres remain — the point two that ends every US 10k.
